Two bears in Alaska enjoying the wilderness

Two baby brown bear cubs play in the Alaskan fields of Denali National Park. The one bear stands on an old dried out tree stump and encourages the other sibling to knock him off. They rustled around that tree stump for what seems like ages as the group of us lead by Art Wolfe happily watched and photographed.

Alaska was a fantastic place to photograph at the time of year. The cloud cover and intensity of the sun provided ample light to shoot at a low ISO without hard shadows. So the natural soft-box allowed us to photograph all day and obtain very high-quality images.
