Vivid hues of violet and blue from the salted land and acidic colored mountain tops of Dante’s Peak Death Valley
Dante’s Peak Death Valley view is a scenic and panoramic view of the southern death valley basin. But did you know in 1977,this breathtaking spot was used as a filming location for the popular film star wars? Well now you know it. Below it is the lowest and the most central part of Death valley, Badwater basin which has the lowest dry point in North America and the brown solid like ranges that rises to the highest peak in the park, Telescope Peak which is 11,000 ft above sea level and a great topographic relief.
Mesquite spring is located in the Northern part of the Death valley and has cottontop cactus. Owlshead Mountains and Funeral Mountains are also visible by far. Mesquite flat sand dunes can be spotted at the bottom which is quite a spectacular view down to Badwater basin which is the bedrock of the valley. The Cottonwoods mountains is probably the source of the dune sands.
