Water droplet texture pattern of water crashing off a vessel in rough seas
On one of my ocean trips on a ship to Antarctica, I found myself boarded and walking around the vessel to find photo opportunities. I photographed a series of abstract images of the cold Antarctica ocean water crashing against the ship’s bow. I spent 30 minutes watching and photographing a wide variety of abstract water images. The water droplets’ patterns are the result of violent, aggressive splashing. In this abstraction photograph, you can see the air bubbles in the water and the patterns looking like something you would expect to see if you had a blender whipping up a forthy foamy liquid.
