This closeup headshot was photographed on a Romanian ranch when they were taming this beautiful Friesian wild horse. The closeup horse portrait shows the gesture of the face and nature as it gallops in the ranch pen.

After the collapse of the Soviet Union block, farmers had little use for workhorses due to the collapse of the kolkhoz system settled in the Romanian Danube delta. With the widespread population growth of wild horses int the Romanian Danube region, the government resorts to shooting the horses to control the population growth and limiting the damage to local flora and fauna. Organizations to save the last remaining wild horses by introducing birth control programs.
