Pinnacles Desert Nambung National Park
Although some might suggest that Utah’s Bryce Canyon National Park has the most incredible rock formations, others would claim that the thousands of massive limestone pillars rising from the sand at the Pinnacles Desert is more interesting. The scene is like something from another planet.
You can find the Pinnacles Desert (Nambung National Park) in Western Australia, about 200 kilometers from Perth, near the town of Cervantes. Its an easy day trip to the National Park and well worth the costal drive to see what some describe as moon surface desert.
