Cone shaped sandstone pinnacle in Western Australia
The Western Australia Pinnacles are located in the Nambung National Park. This sand desert land of strange limestone rock formations is a sight to be seen.
Each limestone pinnacle is a unique sculpture. The rock formation in this photograph is quite unique. It resembles a coral reef with weird coral-like formations all around the large stone formation. Pinnacles in Western Australia are formed from seashells. The seashells are eroded into lime-rich sand and blown inland to create desert dunes.
