I was surprised to read an article in Men’s Health that actually suggests that the breakfast sausage can be healthy or ham meat. The sausage contains a muscle-building protein that is essential in adding muscle mass. Also, they claim that the fat contained in pork is the right kind. Monounsaturated fats lower blood pressure, which can reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease.
