Australian Outback Trees silhouetted at sunset

Wonderful sunset light on the hillside edge in the back country of Australia

The vastness of the Australian Outback Trees is exhilarating. This photo shot just after the sun moved below the horizon beautifully silhouetted the trees in the distance. The sky was like a pastel pallet of color. The long line of trees in the distance complements the red, orange, and deep blue skyline.

Traveling through Australia’s outback is a fantastic experience for any photographer. The sunsets are breathtaking. In this photograph, I was driving back to Perth, Australia, as the sun was setting. The landscape on the drive was interesting, but nothing out of the ordinary to make me stop and shot a few frames. That is until the sunset setting below the horizon lit up the tree line in the distance. They seem to glow against the bright red and orange pastel colors. Since the trees were in a single line with a field in front, it created this perfect outback sunset feature image.
