Gentoo Penguin doing the belly slide

Penguins are fun birds to watch. The penguin birds walk around, paying no attention to the photographers in the group. In this wildlife photograph, the Gentoo Penguin was sliding down the hillside on his belly. They look like they do it for fun.

Gentoo penguins are native to the Antarctic Peninsula and the coastal island of the continent. They typically live in ice-free areas like rocky beaches and low-lying cliffs. Gentoo penguins grow to about 30″ tall – making them the third-largest in the penguin family.

The penguin wildlife birds have a black back and head, white belly, reddish bill, and a white stripe running across the eyes.
