Antarctic snow cliffs with sun rays

Large mountain ranges cover the Antarctica region. As they slope down towards the ocean, large snow cliffs along the water’s edge are common. As you can see from this photograph, the cliffs look relatively small, but don’t be fooled, the ice and snow cliffs are hundreds of feet high.

The lighting is particularly exciting, with the blowing snow creating an atmospheric fog-like mist. The sun is creating a sunbeam lighting up the edge of the icy cliff in Antarctica.
